inmediate upload

We define immediate upload as the therapeutic protocol in which implants are inserted and crowns affixed to these implants within the same intervention.

This new protocol enables us to reduce waiting time to the absolute maximum: from the very first day the patient has “fixed teeth”.

The typical case is where within the same day fractured or irretrievable teeth are removed, implants inserted and teeth attached.  This dental prosthesis is fixed and will remain in the mouth until the definitive one is attached after 4 months.

It may also be applied to situations in which just one tooth is to be replaced.  In all these cases a detailed study of the bone, joint and other buccal factors must be undertaken.

We will show you a case wherein during the same morning the teeth were extracted from the jaw, 6 implants were inserted and a fixed prosthesis attached to said implants.

Panoramic image carried out at the clinic during the first consultation.  Great bone affectation can be seen, the central inferior incisors are held only by the gums, the alveolar bone had been lost.

.State of the patients teeth

State of the gums after extracting the teeth and molars.

Photograph of the mouth with the implants inserted and the fixing pillars of the prosthesis screwed in.

Immediate fixed prosthesis which was attached the day of the intervention.

End result on the day of the intervention.

Condition of the mouth with fixed prosthesis after one week.

State of the gums after three months without prosthesis.  You can see how the gum has matured around the prosthetic pillars which are screwed into the implants.  From this point, we will begin to prepare the definitive prosthesis.

Occlusal and frontal images of the definitive prosthesis.  The orifices that can be seen are used to screw the prosthesis to the implants; subsequently they will be hidden with composite.

Photographs of the definitive fixed prosthesis in the mouth of the patient.  Thanks to the combination of current technologies, the patient has been wearing a fixed prosthesis during the entire treatment.
